The Rangers know of the task they have ahead. Game four, tonight, seven P.M. If the Rangers lose this game they go back to Montreal on the brink of elimination. If you want to hear about the keys to a New York Rangers victory, please check out my last article.
Pregame comments:
Stepan: “That’s the biggest thing right now is there can’t be any panic, It’s a 2-1 series and if we win one it’s 2-2, now it’s a three-game series. It’s as simple as focusing and keeping it just on Game 4. Let’s just focus on that. We can’t run ourselves into panic or run ourselves into trouble.”
Now, the Rangers have overcome 3-1 deficits twice in recent years against two premier teams. 2014 against Washington and 2015 against Pittsburg. But the Rangers don’t want to be put in this situation again.
Captain Mcdonagh: “Heckuva lot of guys have played a lot of playoff games and it’s not always going to be a perfect game every night. The other night was a frustrating one for us. We want to have a bounce back game.”
The Rangers are 5-2 in recent years when trailing in a series (Going back to Game 5 against the Capitals, 2015).
Marc Staal: “We’ve got to go out there and play with some intensity and obviously some desperation, but at the same time just relax a little bit and play our game.”
Coach AV: “There’s no doubt that experience is a good thing to have, Tonight our guys know you’ve got to breathe, got to go out and got to play, and that’s what we’re going to do.”
My thoughts: If the Rangers want to win tonight they have to find a way to enter the offensive zone (For complete thoughts go to my previous article).
LETS GO RANGERS!
